Bionic were recently engaged to work on a large scale relaunch of successful financial website KidStart.
KidStart is backed by leading venture capital firm, Delta Partners and is a free shopping club for parents, grandparents, family and friends. A percentage of what savers spend online at hundreds of well-known retailers will be collected and put by Kidstart into a child's or children's savings account. Kidstart is FCA regulated.
The project ran over the course of several months, working with a London based design agency and the internal technical team at Kidstart. Bionic were tasked with moving the complex technology to a new platform under .NET, rewriting much of the code and rebuilding all the front-end of the website to make it responsive across desktop, mobile and tablet.
The new site launched successfully within demanding timescales and within budget.
